Responsibilities
- Manage on-site execution of data center and mission-critical infrastructure projects, overseeing daily jobsite operations, labor productivity, and work sequencing.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce project schedules, coordinating work with general contractors, other trades, and facility operators to meet milestones.
- Lead daily jobsite activities, including pre-task planning, crew direction, site walks, and progress verification.
- Cookordinate labor, materials, tools, and equipment to support efficient and uninterrupted field operations.
- Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for clients, general contractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Monitor job costs, track labor hours and material usage, and maintain accountability for budget and margin performance.
- Identify scope changes, unforeseen site conditions, and execution risks; support documentation, change management, and resolution.
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure installations meet drawings, specifications, company standards, and industry requirements.
- Enforce site safety requirements, access protocols, and compliance standards, promoting a strong safety culture in mission-critical environments.
- Lead, train, and mentor field technicians and subcontracted resources, ensuring consistent workmanship and professional development.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, labor tracking, issue logs, and as-built information within company systems.
- Resolve on-site issues quickly and decisively to protect schedule integrity and minimize operational risk.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in a Construction Manager, Field Project Manager, or Superintendent-level role within data centers, mission-critical facilities, low-voltage, or related construction environments.
- Strong understanding of construction field execution, including scheduling, labor management, coordination with multiple trades, and live-site constraints.
- Proven experience managing job costs, budgets, and financial performance.
- Working knowledge of structured cabling, network infrastructure, containment systems, or related technology installations.
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing field crews and subcontractors in schedule-driven environments.
- Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, zero-downtime settings.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interface professionally with clients, general contractors, and facility operators.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, IT, or a related field preferred; equivalent field experience will be considered.
- Willingness to travel and work extended hours as required by project demands.
