Construction Manager

STV is seeking a Construction Manager for its Transportation division in New York, NY to work on transportation projects in the New York area.

About the role

The Construction Manager will manage all aspects of field oversight and documentation, including:

• Working with field staff for inspection of construction projects
• Reviewing construction drawings and inspecting construction activities
• Coordinating construction with other public and private agencies
• Reviewing and monitoring the Contractor’s compliance with the contract
• Submitting daily reports
• Serving as the Owner’s on-site representative with the Contractor to coordinate and monitor matters of quality and substantial conformance to the contract documents

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience as an inspector working on rail, tunnel, roadway, or utility rehabilitation construction projects
• Experience with and working knowledge of policies, procedures, and specifications for City Reconstruction Contracts
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organization, and time management skills

Pay

Compensation range: $149,671.54 – $171,053.19
