Join Rinker Design Associates, LLC (RDA) as a Construction Manager in Blacksburg, Virginia. Lead complex construction projects and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality infrastructure that exceeds client expectations.

Responsibilities

• Command complex construction projects from groundbreaking to completion.
• Collaborate with design, materials, environmental, and traffic engineering teams to ensure contract schedules and requirements are met.
• Enforce strict quality, safety, and environmental standards on all projects.
• Provide evaluations and written recommendations to optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Lead and mentor project teams, facilitate project meetings, and author project management correspondence.
• Solve challenges and make bold decisions to drive project progress.

Requirements

• Mastery of VDOT's rigorous standards and regulations.
• Proficiency in materials testing equipment and construction management software.
• Unmatched leadership and management skills.
• B.S. in Civil Engineering (required).
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on construction experience (10 years preferred).
• Professional Engineer (PE) License in Virginia and Certified Construction Manager (CCM) designations (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving eligibility requirements, including a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review.

Pay

$93,600 - $135,200 / year
