Construction Manager

What You Will Do

GFT is seeking a Construction Manager to join our Construction Services Team in New York, NY. This role requires regular attendance in New York, NY.

We oversee every construction phase to help ensure projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards.

What You’ll Be Challenged To Do

• Assist with design and construction meetings
• Prepare progress reports
• Aid in the preparation of RFI’s, and submittals
• Review estimates, negotiate, and process change orders
• Cook up project and contract schedules
• Maintain job record files
• Participate in progress meetings, generating meeting minutes
• Aid in field inspections and verify work is performed in accordance with plans and specifications
• Aid Project Manager with administrative support

Education | Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or related field
• 8 years’ of related experience
• E-builder experience
• Able to read and interpret construction documents and shop drawings
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Must possess a driver’s license

Pay

The salary range for this role is $100,000 - $130,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
