Responsibilities
- Onsite performance of construction and maintenance work in accordance with contract requirements
- Ensuring cost estimates are realized for maximum profit
- Pursuing and booking traditional utility and industrial project work
- Managing project P&L within their assigned district
- Overseeing, reviewing, and approving project execution
- Frequently staffing project job sites
- Overseeing large service/outage project performance
- Addressing, advising on, and assisting with critical issues related to projects within area of responsibility
- Communicating significant project issues to management
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and ethics programs
- Developing and managing talent within area of responsibility
- Challenging project team(s) to be customer and performance driven
- Developing and managing talent within their assigned district
- Frequently representing BWCC opposite organized labor on jurisdictional issues, pre-job conference, and the grievance process
- Occasionally representing BWCC opposite organized labor on collective bargaining committees and apprenticeship committees for their assigned district
- Occasionally overseeing contract negotiations
- Frequently overseeing contract execution issue resolution
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or technical degree required
- 8+ years of relevant construction and project experience required
- 6-8 years of management experience required
- Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated leadership abilities
- Ability to influence at all levels
- Attention to detail and organization required
- Ability to multi-task
