About the Role

The Construction Manager oversees newly constructed residential homes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring attention to detail, workplace safety, and meeting tight deadlines efficiently. This role involves maintaining accuracy of blueprints, takeoffs, and managing budget variances, as well as coordinating supply and trade issues with the purchasing department.

Responsibilities

• Ensure quality standards are met throughout the project.
• Coordinate builder loading, start timing, and pace.
• Monitor builder communication with sales orders to maximize closings and customer satisfaction.
• Conduct weekly team meetings.
• Review and approve sub-contractor purchase orders.
• Conduct weekly individual planned encounters.

Requirements

• 2+ years of construction experience.
• Valid driver's license with a reliable automobile for on-site use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management (preferred).
• Knowledge of building codes.
• 2+ years of residential home building experience.
• Homebuilding software experience (e.g., BuildPro).
• Supervisory experience.

Work Environment

Representative of an office/field setting. The noise level is usually quiet to moderate.

Physical Demands

• Reach with hands and arms.
• See with close and distance vision.
• Use hands and fingers to operate tools and other business machines.
