About the role

As a Construction Manager, you will oversee newly constructed residential homes in a fast-paced environment, ensuring attention to detail, workplace safety, and meeting tight deadlines efficiently. You will coordinate supply and trade issues with the purchasing department and maintain strong builder partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy of blueprints and takeoffs, and manage variance to budgets.
• Coordinate builder loading, start timing, and pace to maximize closings and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor builder communication with sales orders and conduct weekly team meetings.
• Review and approve sub-contractor purchase orders.
• Conduct weekly individual planned encounters.
• Ensure quality standards are met throughout the project.

Requirements

• 2+ years of construction experience.
• Valid driver's license with a reliable automobile for on-site use.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management (preferred).
• Knowledge of building codes.
• 2+ years of residential home building experience.
• Homebuilding software experience (e.g., BuildPro).
• Supervisory experience.

Work Environment

Representative of an office/field setting. The noise level is usually quiet to moderate.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to walk, climb stairs, sit, and stand.
• Reach with hands and arms.
• See with close and distance vision.
• Use hands and fingers to operate tools and other business machines.
• Lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
