Construction Management Intern

• Assist with estimating and project management.
• Gain experience in bid strategies and negotiations.
• Gain experience with project scheduling.
• Gain experience with submittals and product knowledge (use and installation).
• Gain experience with project forecasting.
• Gain experience with construction documentation.
• Gain experience with job-site safety and visits.

Requirements

• Currently attending a college or university in a related degree program such as Construction Management, Business Administration, etc.
• Working towards completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management.
• Entry-level estimating experience.
• Blueprint reading and analysis skills.
• Excellent communication and computer skills.
• Experience with project management and assisting.
• Experience with preparing project submittals and manuals.
• Experience with reviewing project specifications and requirements.
• Experience with plan downloading and printing.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Technology

• Working knowledge of computers, including email and word processing abilities, Excel, Microsoft Office & Outlook.

Work Environment

The setting for this position is an office/field hybrid. Travel may be required to complete job duties, with appropriate compensation provided (mileage reimbursement, etc).

Physical Demands

• See, hear, walk, stand, lift up to 50 lbs., bend, speak, sit, learn, read, concentrate, think, communicate, and work.
