Construction Machine Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate excavators, skid steers, lulls, backhoes, and other heavy equipment for site work including digging, grading, trenching, and backfilling
• Safely operate trucks to transport materials, debris, and equipment to and from job sites
• Contribute as a laborer to support crews and keep projects on schedule
• Maintain and service equipment and machinery, and perform light maintenance as needed
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report issues promptly
• Plan, coordinate, and help execute project tasks alongside the on-site team
• Work safely and respectfully on active, high-end residential properties, with care for the client's home and surroundings
• Maintain accurate inspection, test, and equipment documentation

Qualifications

• Required: Experience operating excavators, skid steers, lulls, and backhoes
• Required: Experience as a laborer in a construction setting
• Required: Strong attention to detail in inspections, tests, and documentation
• Preferred: Proficiency using relevant tools
• Preferred: Ability to perform the physical demands of the role — lifting, climbing, and working outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Required: Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently with a positive, can-do attitude
• Required: Must pass drug testing, motor vehicle license check, and background check
