Construction Laborers - Galena Park, TX

Entry-level field position performing a variety of basic physical labor tasks on marine and civil construction sites, including site preparation, material handling, cleaning, and assisting skilled trades such as carpenters, equipment operators, and welders. Supports both land-based and overwater operations in physically demanding and safety-sensitive environments.

Responsibilities

• Handle power and manual tools, sawing and nailing
• Operate motorized equipment
• Install and remove construction material at considerable heights with fall protection measures
• Lift up to 75 pounds, stoop, carry, and bend on a frequent basis
• Work exclusively outside in all weather extremes
• Perform other job duties as assigned

Requirements

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds of material
• Frequently walk, stoop, kneel, reach, and climb
• Frequent use of hand tools such as power tools, circular saws, hammers, nails, and bolts
• Preference given to candidates with a minimum of 6 months of formwork/concrete construction labor experience
• Must be alert, possess good balance, and physical strength
• Authorized to work in the United States (position not eligible for employment visa sponsorship)
