Duties & Functions
- Go over the daily work schedule with the Crew Leader each morning.
- Avoid loading trucks with improper installation materials each morning.
- Drive Company work truck to and from worksites, obeying traffic laws.
- Represent Greenrise Technologies in a professional manner to customers and homeowners at all times.
- Complete all erosion control work to a high standard of excellence and Greenrise Technologies quality.
- Follow all safety protocols pertaining to vehicles, equipment, or site conduct as instructed.
- Install all erosion control products to the specifications of your crew leader’s direction.
- Communicate effectively with operations managers and fellow crew members.
- Achieve daily and weekly goals for your crew’s silt fence installation output.
- Ensure vehicles, tools, and equipment are taken care of and inspected properly.
- Relay important information, incident reports, or concerns utilizing the proper chain of command.
Requirements
- A valid driver’s license and ability to meet insurance requirements for past driving record.
- Ability to listen well and follow directions.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills working as part of a team.
- A commitment to customer service and ability to represent oneself in a professional manner.
- Reliable and punctual attendance.
- Physically fit and able to work long days outside in the elements.
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic ability to read and write legibly.
- A high character, honesty, and integrity essential.
- Must be able to work independently and with minimal direct supervision at times.
- Able to consistently utilize good judgement and make sound decisions.
- Able to take initiative and proactively seek continued performance improvement.
- Experience working with tools and equipment specific to erosion control installations (preferred).
- Experience pulling a trailer (preferred).
- Must have a reliable cell phone.
