Construction Intern - Tampa Summer 2027

About the role

F.H. Paschen offers a robust Internship Program designed for students pursuing construction or related curriculums within the built environment. This primarily summer position allows interns to work with a project team, gaining hands-on experience to prepare for a career in Construction Project Management. Interns may be placed at any stage from pre-construction through project closeout.

Responsibilities

• Quantity takeoffs
• Material logs
• Project reports
• Correspondence
• Review and determine suitability of shop drawings and submittals
• Track status of change orders
• Track status of Requests for Information
• Collect, verify, and distribute as-builts
• Blueprint reading
• Close Out Documentation
• Subcontractor solicitation
• Field coordination and supervision

Requirements

• Enrolled in Engineering, Construction, Architecture, Business, or related majors in the built environment
• Knowledge of construction-related technology such as Blue Beam, Revit, and Procore
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Experience with computer applications for spreadsheets, word processing, and scheduling is preferred

Pay

$22 - $24/hr
