Construction Inspector I

About the role

The incumbent coordinates and manages all activities regarding inspections of engineering construction and related matters for compliance with specifications and City codes.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or Trade School Certificate required
• 18 months minimum experience in public work construction, engineering, surveying, building, utilities, or related field
• Equivalent additional experience may be accepted in place of education
• Must possess a valid Oklahoma driver license and be insurable
• Must obtain ODEQ Class "D" water and wastewater certifications within one (1) year of hire
• This position is designated as safety/security sensitive and is subject to pre-employment, reasonable suspicion, and random drug and alcohol screening

Pay

Starting salary: $26.9827 - $28.5704 per hour with benefits.
