Construction Inspector

LaBella Associates is seeking experienced Construction Inspectors (Part-Time) to join our growing team in Lockport, NY. Responsibilities
- Construction observation and documentation on specific project site locations.
- Travel to field locations on a regular basis.
- Construction document interpretation.
- Field report preparation.
- Record document preparation.
Requirements
- Prior relevant work experience and knowledge of roads, stormwater utilities, water and sanitary sewer line installations as well as storm water pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) inspections
- Familiarity with reading and interpreting architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural plans and details
- Minimum of 5-7 years of Construction Inspection experience
- 4-year degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or Architecture
- Knowledge of erosion and sediment control installation and maintenance
- OSHA 10-hour certification, preferred
- Microsoft Office experience a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Additional certification requirements maybe necessary
Pay
Salary range: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour. The specific salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to the candidate's relevant experience, education, and work location.
Schedule
2-3 days per week for approximately 20 months, with the potential to transition into full-time employment.
