Construction Inspector
About the role
Ardurra has over 27 years of experience providing effective engineering and field surveying solutions to dozens of municipalities, commercial, and public entities. As one of the Southeast’s most trusted, experienced and nationally recognized engineering and consulting companies, Ardurra is seeking an honest, capable and qualified individual for on-site construction inspection of various local projects in the west Tennessee area. This position is based in the Memphis, TN office and will work in the Memphis and surrounding west Tennessee region.
Responsibilities
- Perform on-site construction inspection of various local projects in the west Tennessee area
- Inspect all aerial and underground fiber installations
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least five (5) years of progressive experience in utility infrastructure projects (preferred)
- Specific technical certifications, or the ability to obtain such certifications as soon as training opportunities are available
- Must possess and maintain a Class D driver’s license valid to operate vehicles in the State of Tennessee
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with a diverse group of people, including the general public, local businesses, property owners, contractors, and clients
- Occasional overnight travel may be required (rare)
- Work location: Memphis and surrounding west Tennessee region
