Construction Inspection, Senior Inspector NICET III

About the role

Prudent Engineering is seeking a Construction Inspector, NICET III with bridge or highway experience for position in Buffalo and surrounding areas, to start in April/May of 2026.

Responsibilities

• Oversight and inspection of construction projects at various stages to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and regulations.
• Must have NICET III certification or equivalent experience.
• Prior New York State DOT and/or New York State Thruway inspection experience or similar experience working on bridge or Highway construction projects.
• Proficiency in computer aided project administration is preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field is preferred. Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• OSHA 10 certification and knowledge of safety procedures and practices related to construction sites.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to travel to and on the construction sites.
