Construction Helper

About the role

PuroClean is seeking a hardworking individual to assist in various tasks related to property restoration. This position offers opportunities for advancement and competitive compensation.

Responsibilities

• Aid the management team in purchasing materials and delivering to job sites.
• Set up jobs, keep the job site organized, and break down at the end of the project.
• Perform basic punch list duties such as drywall patching, painting, resetting plumbing and electrical fixtures, and resetting trim.
• Communicate with the management team regarding updates and progress throughout the day.
• Follow safety procedures and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge and skills to perform punch list items.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of building materials.
• Self-motivated.
• Effective verbal communication skills, both written and oral.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Physical capabilities to crawl, kneel, lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State Driver's License.
• At least 18 years of age.
• United States work authorization required.

Skills

• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
