Construction Foreman / Crew Lead

What You'll Do

• Lead and supervise self-perform crews (carpentry, framing, concrete, demolition, finishes)
• Manage daily field operations and ensure production schedules are met
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and construction documents
• Perform layout, measurements, and field verification
• Cook materials, tools, and equipment on-site
• Identify and resolve field issues quickly to avoid delays
• Ensure work meets quality standards and contract requirements
• Conduct daily inspections and support QA/QC processes
• Enforce OSHA safety standards and lead daily safety meetings (JHAs)
• Maintain clean, safe, and organized jobsite conditions
• Coordinate with Superintendents, Project Managers, and subcontractors
• Track daily labor, production, and material usage
• Complete daily reports, timesheets, and jobsite documentation

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training preferred
• 5+ years of hands-on construction experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role
• Proven ability to lead crews on self-perform construction work
• Background in framing, rough carpentry, finish carpentry, drywall
• Strong knowledge of construction techniques, safety practices, and blueprint reading
• Ability to operate tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• OSHA 30, or ability to acquire, is required
• First Aid/CPR, or ability to acquire, is required
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Pay & Benefits

• $60,000 - $70,000 annually based on a full-time schedule, market and business conditions, and is commensurate on individual education, qualifications, and experience

Work Conditions & Travel

• This is a fully on-site role at the project location(s)
• Must have ability to stoop, stand, climb, and frequently lift up to 50 lbs
• Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine
• Involves movement between floors, and properties to facilitate work
• Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you
