Construction Estimator

We are seeking an experienced construction professional to join our team and play a key role in helping bring projects from initial opportunity to successful execution. Responsibilities Put together project estimates, budgets, and project schedulesUpfront client communication on potential projectsManage all aspects of putting together a SOQ for a potential projectManage workload and tasks in a deadline driven environmentGo to pre-construction meetings, take notes, and ask questions that can be used to develop proposalsRemain part of a project during a “hand off” period to an Operations Project Manager, once we get the workCall and solicit proposals from sub-contractorsHelp build out and streamline our sales processesResearch and maintain knowledge of building application methods and materialsManage subcontractor selectionPrepare and reviews construction proposalsCreate construction budgets and schedulesAssist in developing and reviewing contract documentsParticipate in project meetingsUnderstand client needs and requirementsContribute to the Request for Information (RFI) process Qualifications High School DiplomaAt least 5-10 years of relevant experience with managing construction projects from kick off through completionProficiency with applications like Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams) and other industry specific softwareStrong communication skills, both written and verbalMust be a team player with strong organizational skills From our founding, Anchor Construction has been an innovator in project administration and construction management.
