Commercial Construction EstimatorLocation: Denver Metro Area, CO Job Type: Full-Time | In-Office Pay: $75,000–$90,000 per year, DOEAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Estimator to join our team in the Denver metro area. This position is ideal for someone with 3–5+ years of commercial general contracting estimating experience who is comfortable managing multiple bids, reviewing construction documents, and developing accurate project estimates from concept through bid submission.This is an in-office position working closely with project managers, subcontractors, vendors, and the preconstruction team.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare detailed estimates for commercial construction projectsReview architectural, structural, MEP, civil, and other construction plans and specificationsPerform quantity takeoffs and develop accurate material and labor costsSolicit, evaluate, and level subcontractor and vendor bidsIdentify scope gaps, exclusions, and potential cost risksDevelop competitive and accurate bid proposalsMaintain estimating spreadsheets, databases, and project documentationCommunicate with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain pricing and clarify scopeAssist with value engineering and cost-saving opportunitiesParticipate in pre-bid meetings, site walks, and scope reviews as neededWork closely with project management and preconstruction teams to ensure a smooth handoff from estimating to constructionTrack market conditions, material pricing, and subcontractor availabilityManage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneouslyQualifications3–5+ years of commercial construction estimating experienceExperience working for a General Contractor strongly preferredStrong understanding of commercial construction methods, materials, and sequencingAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and bid documentsExperience with quantity takeoffs and subcontractor/vendor solicitationStrong math, analytical, and organizational skillsExcellent attention to detailStrong communication and negotiation skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and deadlinesProficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly ExcelExperience with estimating software such as Procore, Bluebeam, OST, PlanSwift, or similar is a plusWhat We Offer$75,000–$90,000/year DOEFull-time, stable opportunity with an established commercial GCIn-office team environmentOpportunity to work on a variety of commercial construction projectsCareer growth and advancement opportunitiesCompetitive benefits packageIf you have a strong commercial estimating background and are looking for a long-term opportunity with a growing General Contractor in the Denver market, we want to hear from you!
