Responsibilities

- Prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates for commercial construction projects. - Analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to understand project scope and identify potential risks or opportunities. - Collaborate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure competitive and comprehensive pricing. - Coordinate with Project Managers and Superintendents during pre-construction phases to align estimates with project execution. - Maintain and build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers, ensuring a fair and excellent reputation. - Assist in project hand-off meetings, clearly communicating bid strategy, scope, and risk to the operations team.

Qualifications

- 5+ years of estimating experience within the commercial construction industry. - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or relevant experience. - Strong analytical skills and a detailed-oriented mindset. - Proficiency in interpreting architectural drawings, specifications, and contracts. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to clearly convey complex information.
