Responsibilities

• Prepares construction cost estimates by performing takeoffs and analyzing all costs associated with the work.
• Obtains quotes from vendors and subcontractors, ensuring scopes and qualifications meet project needs.
• Attends meetings and communicates with customers, professionals, suppliers, and team members.
• Conducts field measurements and takes core samples on existing buildings.
• Prepares special reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Maintains quality service by adhering to organization standards.
• Ensures continuity among corporate, division, and local work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs.
• Maintains professional and technical knowledge through educational workshops, professional publications, networking, and participation in professional societies.
• Researches upcoming projects and tracks bid volumes for reporting.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of construction estimating experience.
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
