High Tide Oil Company, Inc. is seeking a full-time Construction Engineer to oversee and manage all current and future construction projects.

Manage the planning and design stages of construction projects
Contribute technical expertise to project drawings and designs
Perform cost calculations and prepare financial projections
Prepare work schedules in collaboration with the project manager
Liaise between contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers
Oversee construction engineering processes
Perform regular tests on materials and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and OSHA
Ensure the construction project is completed on time and within budget
Document processes and keep detailed construction logs
Present construction project progress updates to Corporate Management
Design, develop, implement, and analyze technical products and systems
Perform engineering design evaluations and prepare technical specification drafts
Provide recommendations for alterations to development and design to improve quality of products and/or procedures
Create, update, and maintain accurate engineering documentation
Ensure compliance with project plans and specifications
Perform other related duties as assigned by management

Working experience in the construction industry
Knowledge of mechanical systems and ability to read and comprehend mechanical and construction plans, drawings, and specifications
Ability to organize, prioritize, and adjust schedules to consistently meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills (verbal and written); must be able to read, write, and speak English
Bachelor’s degree in a related field is preferred
Microsoft Office skills
Current and valid Driver’s License

Corporate office is located in Moody, AL. Jobsite locations are throughout Alabama.
