Construction Electrician

About the role

Electrical Mechanics plan, diagram, install, and repair electrical systems, including the conduits of tubing or pipe often required by local electrical codes.

Requirements

• High school degree or equivalency
• Electrical Journeyman license strongly preferred
• NCEER certification strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints
• Run conduit and wire
• Terminate devices
• Install electrical systems in a new construction setting
• Lift, push, pull, and move moderately heavy objects
• Ascend/descend ladders, perform work at elevated heights, and operate aerial devices

Skills

• Working knowledge of electrical systems installation
• Ability to handle stress and job demands
• Ability to cooperatively work with others
