Construction Electrical Apprentice

About the Role

Job Helpers assist the Electrical staff with planning, diagramming, and implementing electrical systems. Performs tasks involving physical labor at construction sites. May operate hand and power tools of all types. Duties include cleaning and preparing sites, digging trenches with a shovel, setting braces to support the sides of excavations, climbing and working on ladders, and cleaning up debris and other waste materials.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalency preferred
• 0-1 years experience in commercial/industrial electrical work
• Experience with electrical work a plus

Skills

• Working knowledge of electrical systems in a new construction setting
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and move moderately heavy objects
• Ability to ascend/descend ladders
