Construction Cost Estimator- RIB US Cost

About the role

RIB US Cost is seeking a Construction Cost Estimator to join our production estimating team. The role involves preparing and coordinating detailed cost estimates across all project phases, aligning with client objectives, budgets, and design requirements.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with a team of estimators to resolve difficult and complex estimating problems and reconcile with contractors.
• Adheres to policies related to handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI).
• Prepares material takeoffs on complex projects, reviews takeoffs for accuracy, and assigns costs to estimate takeoffs and quantification.
• Obtains quotes from vendors and prepares cost estimates for various project types, including concept, SD, DD, CD, and change orders.
• Participates in client review and presentation meetings as needed.
• Performs other responsibilities as appropriate.

Requirements

• Experience in construction cost estimating.
• Experience specific to mechanical, electrical, or civil disciplines is highly desirable.
• Typical A/E/C industry estimating activities are required.
• Excellent communications and working knowledge of estimating software are required.
• Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft 365.
• A clear understanding and ability to work with architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience with complex building, large infrastructure, and/or aviation projects is required.
• Experience working for a contractor during the construction phase of a project is strongly desired.
• A high degree of professionalism in producing deliverables and interacting with colleagues and clients.

Pay

$XX.XX per hour or $XXX,XXX annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

Full-time, 5 days onsite at the Miami Airport RIB U.S. Cost office.
