About the Role

As a Construction Coordinator at Taylor Morrison, you will support the Construction & Warranty Team, acting as a liaison between departments and both internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Vice President of Construction and team
  • Process start packages
  • Administer new warranty service software system
  • Process permits and weekly starts
  • Update and generate reports for the Builder MT scheduling system
  • Maintain and distribute the starts tracking spreadsheet
  • Provide consolidated reports and track final walk-through lists
  • Track the safety program and organize meetings
  • Assist in the administration and analysis of Field Authorizations and the monthly superintendent bonus program
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Minimum High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to multitask with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently in a team environment
  • Excellent overall computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Highly proficient in Excel
  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Publisher
  • Previous experience with a home builder, contractor, or construction supplier is a plus

Essential Functions

  • Report to Division/Corporate Office/Community daily and adhere to schedule
  • Access, input, and retrieve information from a computer and/or electronic device
  • Engage in face-to-face conversations with customers, co-workers, and higher-level managers
  • Sit or stand for long periods and move around the work environment as needed
  • Operate a motor vehicle if applicable
  • Comply with company policies and procedures

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position up to 50% of the time
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds

    FLSA Status: Non-Exempt (eligible for overtime pay and required to keep a time record).
