About the role

The Chambers USA Band 1 ranked construction team at Hanson Bridgett is seeking a construction associate with 3-5 years of experience, preferably in construction law. Candidates with general litigation or real estate experience will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Represent clients in construction disputes
• Advise clients on contract negotiations and drafting
• Assist in preparing legal documents and briefs
• Participate in client meetings and strategy sessions
• Conduct legal research and analysis
• Prepare and present oral arguments
• Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm

Requirements

• 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Preferably in construction law, but open to candidates with general litigation or real estate experience
• Strong academic background with a distinguished academic record
• Professional references that demonstrate integrity and competence
• Current California Bar membership

Benefits

Our firm offers a competitive salary and benefits package. The annual base compensation range for this California position is between $205,000 and $245,000. Placement within the salary range depends upon a number of factors including but not limited to years of experience and professional skills required for this role.
