About the role

The Assistant Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the school district in Southeast Michigan. This role involves managing staff, implementing educational policies, and ensuring student success.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the implementation of educational policies and procedures
  • Manage staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal education laws and regulations
  • Collaborate with teachers and other administrators to improve student outcomes
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with community stakeholders

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field
  • Master’s degree preferred
  • At least 5 years of experience in education administration
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay

Salary range: $80,000 - $100,000 annually

Schedule

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
