About the role
Architecture Incorporated, a company dedicated to design excellence and community impact, seeks an experienced Construction Administrator to join their team. This role serves as the bridge between design and construction, ensuring projects are built with quality, accuracy, and excellence.
Responsibilities
- Support the Project Architect by preparing project specifications and construction documentation.
- Prepare meeting minutes, RFIs, RFPs, field reports, change orders, and other project correspondence.
- Attend pre-bid meetings and bid lettings.
- Review contractor payment applications, material testing reports, and construction submittals.
- Advise owners on construction changes and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Conduct site visits, participate in progress meetings, and document construction progress.
- Provide construction administration services through substantial and final project completion.
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Construction Administration, or a related field, or equivalent commercial construction experience.
- Five or more years of experience managing or supervising commercial construction projects.
- Working knowledge of commercial building codes and construction best practices.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Certified Construction Documents Technician (CDT) and/or Certified Construction Cost Consultant (CCCA) certification is preferred but not required.
