About the role
We're a lean, fast-moving team of outdoor-loving conservation and sustainability professionals with a 'get stuff done' attitude. You should speak the language of the farm and the farmer—and want to have a great time building the connective tissue that makes farm programs simple, trusted, and rewarding.
Responsibilities
- Program Brain: Use our software and database of 1,200+ programs to help dealers build and implement recommendations for their farmers. Find and stack opportunities like carbon, EQIP, water, and habitat programs.
- Farmer & Partner Success: Be the technical backbone. When a dealer has a question about a specific practice (cover crop species, MRV requirements, etc.), provide the clarity that maintains trust.
- Product Evolution: Work closely with our tech team to improve the Landoption Portal. Translate field-level headaches into software features that make enrollment simpler and more rewarding.
- Content & Education: Help our marketing team produce content and materials that make the process easier and more effective.
Requirements
- Grounded in Ag: Background in agronomy or soil science. A CCA (Certified Crop Advisor) or TSP (Technical Service Provider) and experience with USDA/NRCS programs is a massive plus.
- Tech-Forward: You've embraced AI. You see it as a tool to make you more effective, not a replacement for your expertise.
- Communication: Able to educate and simplify complex information to close the loop and get producers paid.
- Mission-Driven: You care about the balance between people, nature, and profit.
- Entrepreneurial: You thrive in a lean team and enjoy building a new category from the ground up.
- Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle required.
Schedule
- Remote position; must reside within the travel region (within a couple hundred miles of Lincoln, NE).
- Up to 80% local travel visiting partners and producers.
