About the Role

Join our dynamic team as a Campus Retail Associate and support store leaders in all facets of retail operations to ensure the store operates at optimal performance while providing superior customer service.

Responsibilities

• Process sales transactions involving cash, credit, or financial aid payments.
• Greet customers and create a friendly atmosphere to enhance their positive experience.
• Support store operations, including operating equipment and cash registers, ensuring speed of service and accurate transactions.
• Maintain store appearance by shelving, arranging, cleaning, and organizing products or space.
• Perform routine housekeeping tasks such as dusting, mopping, window cleaning, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Temporary positions require availability to work weekly for up to 90 days, including occasional weekends, with flexibility for opening, midday, or closing shifts.

Physical Demands

• Frequent movement within the store to access various departments, areas, and/or products.
• Ability to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
• Frequent lifting.
• Occasional reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 16 years.
• Confident and comfortable engaging customers to deliver an elevated experience.
• Outstanding attitude with a willingness to learn and excel in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Basic math, keyboarding, and data entry skills.
• Flexible availability throughout the academic year, including peak periods.

Pay

Temporary Bookseller pay rate: $17.00/hr (Connecticut stores only).
