About the role
This is where your technical expertise in connected medical systems directly supports patient care. As a Connected Solutions Technician, you’ll ensure critical healthcare technologies operate reliably—helping clinicians deliver safe and effective treatment.
Responsibilities
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair of electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic medical equipment
- Diagnose and resolve issues with network-connected devices, including servers and PoE switches
- Maintain and configure computer and network equipment post-install (systems, peripherals, configurations)
- Plan and execute preventive maintenance and service schedules across assigned customers
- Perform in-field depot-level repairs on internal mechanical and electrical components
- Utilize OEM service documentation for root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Support product installations, system implementations, and configuration activities
- Participate in on-call service support as scheduled
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience servicing medical devices
- Experience troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and networked systems
- Knowledge of network infrastructure, including TCP/IP and connected device environments
- Experience troubleshooting PoE switches, servers, and connected systems
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet DOT requirements
- Associate degree or technical/trade certification in a related field preferred
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Security+, MCSE, or MCSA preferred
- Experience working with FDA-regulated medical devices preferred

- Proven track record of successful troubleshooting and repair of medical equipment
- Strong understanding of network infrastructure and connected device environments
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
Skills
- Technical proficiency in medical device repair and troubleshooting
- Network infrastructure knowledge, including TCP/IP and PoE switches
- Hands-on experience with medical device installation and configuration
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Pay
The estimated base salary for this position is $56,000 - $77,000. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors.
