Responsibilities
- Analyze conflict of interest reports for new representations and lateral attorney hires
- Resolve conflicts, obtaining necessary consents and drafting ethical wall memoranda
- Review new matter requests for compliance with Firm policies
- Absess client outside counsel guidelines for compliance
- Oversee the Firm's waiver process
- Train attorneys and staff on conflicts procedures and intake process
- Lead and mentor Conflicts Analysts to ensure quality and consistency
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active licensure
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in conflicts of interest and professional responsibility
- Strong knowledge of conflict-of-interest principles
- Familiarity with automated new business intake systems
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration across all organizational levels
Pay
$100,000 – $150,000 annually
