Conflicts Analyst
Job Responsibilities
- Determines the accuracy of party names and identifies corporate family affiliates for all practice groups.
- Enters and updates data in the firm’s conflicts database and conducts database searches to identify potential conflicts with matters already in the system and generates conflicts reports for analysis by firm’s attorneys.
- Analyzes information provided with new matter requests for compliance with firm policies and applicable rules of professional responsibility.
- Reviews conflict of interest reports for new firm matters to confirm no potential conflicts problems or to identify conflicts problems in need of resolution.
- Affords assistance in resolving conflicts issues and conflicts review associated with special projects, such as bankruptcies and lateral hiring.
Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities
- Basic knowledge of conflicts of interest issues.
- High level of knowledge and ability related to technical systems associated with law firm new business intake.
- Knowledge of InTapp preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, with attorneys and staff.
- Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work in a dynamic and complex environment; work independently with attention to detail; adapt to changing priorities; meet deadlines and daily requirements.
- Demonstrated ability to master new technology applications.
- Advanced skill in operating standard office equipment, including desktop computers, printers, copiers, and telephones.
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, primarily Word and Excel.
Education
The position requires a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
Experience
The position requires a minimum of two (2) years of increasingly responsible, directly-related conflicts law firm experience or experience in a practice support or legal assistant capacity.
Pay Range
$76,000 - $120,000

Our Firm is committed to fair and equitable compensation practice in accordance with applicable laws. Additional compensation may include a discretionary bonus. The salary for this position may vary based on location, market data, an applicant’s skills and prior experience, certain degrees and certifications, and other factors.
