Conflicts Analyst
Key Responsibilities
- Review and process new business intake requests, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Conduct conflict checks, corporate research, and prepare clearance summaries
- Analyze client, matter, and organizational data to identify potential conflicts of interest
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and administrative teams to resolve issues and obtain approvals
- Maintain and update internal systems, including conflict databases and document repositories
- Support documentation efforts such as engagement letters, guidelines, and waivers
- Manage confidentiality controls and ethical screening processes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3+ years of experience in conflicts, risk, compliance, or legal research in a law firm is required
- Familiarity with research databases and conflicts management systems (e.g., Intapp or similar tools)
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and discretion
- Flexible mindset with the ability to adapt to changing priorities

- Full-time remote position within the NY Tri-state area (NY, NJ, or CT)
- Evening shift (1:00 pm - 9:00 pm EST)
- Competitive salary range: ~$70K-$82K, depending on experience
- Desired skills and experience: 3+ years of experience in a conflicts role at a law firm
