Configuration Manager/Documentation Specialist - IBDSS II

About the role

The Configuration Manager/Documentation Specialist II is responsible for maintaining and updating technical documentation and configuration management systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation for software and hardware systems.
• Manage configuration management processes to ensure consistency and accuracy in system configurations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that documentation aligns with project goals and requirements.
• Update and maintain configuration management tools and databases.
• Provide technical support to users as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in configuration management and technical documentation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
• Experience with version control systems such as Git.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) principles.
• Experience with configuration management tools like Confluence, JIRA, or similar.
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
