Configuration Manager

About the role

ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Configuration Manager to join our team at Eglin AFB. The successful candidate will act as a systems administrator for the Partner Support Complex, providing technical support for classified networks and associated operational personnel.

Responsibilities

• Process all Specialized Network and Site forms, including validation, account creation for numerous networks, site creation, server account validations, and database entries.
• Provide client system administration support on multiple networks, ensuring current security patches and required software for users.
• Assist the purchasing agent in acquiring computer and communications equipment and software for 53rd Wing SAP facilities.
• Generate specialized reports for CAFNet ISSMs to support decision-making on corrective actions and access status for management groups.
• Act as control agent for all Secret and below media within the SAP facility.
• Serve as technical advisor for the Wing Equipment Control Officer (ECO).
• Oversee the Wing hardware and software maintenance program.

Requirements

• At least one year of experience processing individual network account forms, assisting with client system administration tasks, managing media control processes, assisting with IT equipment purchases, and/or assisting with special communications installations.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new situations.
• Strong commitment to a team environment.

Clearance Requirements

• Current/active Top Secret clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access prior to starting.
• Eligibility for access to Special Access Program Information.
• Willingness to submit to a polygraph.

Physical Requirements

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
