Configuration Manager

What You Will Do

• Manages configuration management processes, baselines, repositories, version control, change tracking, audits, and artifact governance for FMBT interface deliverables.
• Ensures source code, documentation, executable files, and configuration items are controlled, traceable, and maintained in Government-approved tools and repositories.

What You Will Need

• 8+ years of configuration management experience supporting software development, systems integration, or federal IT programs
• Experience establishing and maintaining configuration management plans, baselines, repositories, libraries, and version control processes
• Experience supporting configuration audits, change tracking, configuration status accounting, and release/deployment controls
• Experience with GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Jira, Agility, or comparable configuration and artifact management tools
• Experience coordinating configuration management with change management, incident management, release management, and testing processes
• Ability to obtain and maintain VA access
• Experience working in Agile/SAFe environments
• Experience supporting Federal IT programs preferred
• Experience supporting enterprise application implementations preferred
• Experience using Jira, Azure DevOps, Agility, GitHub, or similar tools
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Experience working with cross-functional technical and business stakeholders

What Would Be Nice To Have

• Experience supporting VA, FMBT, Momentum, or federal ERP programs preferred
• ITIL, SAFe, or configuration management certification preferred
• Experience with secure software libraries and long-term archive/backup strategies

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $86,500.00-$129,900.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Position may be eligible for a discretionary variable incentive bonus.
