About the role
We're partnered with a pioneering space robotics company developing next-generation lunar vehicles and are looking for an experienced Configuration Manager to support mission-critical spaceflight programmes.
Responsibilities
- Manage engineering documentation, drawings, BOMs, and as-built configurations.
- Lead configuration change processes and Change Control Board (CCB) activities.
- Develop and maintain Configuration Management Plans (CMPs) and system baselines.
- Conduct Functional and Physical Configuration Audits (FCA/PCA).
- Work closely with systems, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure configuration integrity throughout development.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- 7+ years of Configuration Management experience within aerospace or defence.
- Experience with tools such as Windchill, Jira, Build or similar configuration/version control systems.
- Knowledge of configuration audits, change control, and engineering documentation.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- U.S. Person.
Nice to Have
- Experience with AS9100, CMMI, ITAR, and export-controlled programmes.
- Background supporting complex hardware or spaceflight programmes.
