About the role

Join a mission-focused team responsible for maintaining the configuration integrity, traceability, and compliance posture of critical enterprise software systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain configuration management plans, policies, and procedures aligned to enterprise and federal standards.
• Administer the configuration management database and maintain accurate configuration item relationships and lifecycle records.
• Manage software baselines, version control practices, and branching standards to preserve integrity and traceability.
• Execute change control workflows, including intake, impact analysis, approvals, implementation tracking, and closure.
• Conduct functional and physical configuration audits to verify consistency between documentation and deployed systems.
• Produce configuration status accounting reports, metrics, and leadership briefings for governance and compliance reviews.
• Integrate configuration management processes with CI/CD and DevSecOps workflows to improve automated traceability.
• Train stakeholders on configuration management tools, procedures, and audit readiness expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• At least 4 years of configuration management experience in software or technical environments.
• Experience developing and maintaining configuration management plans, baselines, and version control practices.
• Experience performing configuration audits, status accounting, and change control activities.
• Experience working with engineering, operations, and program stakeholders in a regulated environment.
• Active Secret clearance.
• U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Experience with ServiceNow CMDB or a similar configuration management platform.
• Preferred: Familiarity with DevSecOps toolchains and automated configuration tracking.
• Preferred: Industry certification such as Certified Configuration Manager or ITIL Foundation.
• Preferred: Experience supporting federal or government IT environments.
