Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a Configuration Management Analyst to develop, maintain, and optimize system configuration processes, ensuring accurate configuration control, system integrity, and compliance throughout the system lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain configuration management plans, policies, and procedures.
- Manage configuration baselines, change requests, and system documentation.
- Analyze configuration issues and recommend process improvements.
- Coordinate configuration changes with engineering and project teams.
- Perform configuration audits to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Support software and hardware installations, upgrades, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot configuration-related issues and implement corrective actions.
- Prepare configuration status reports and documentation for project leadership.

Requirements
- TS/SCI (eligible for CI Poly)
- Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3–5 years of experience in Configuration Management or a related technical field.
- Knowledge of configuration management principles, change control, and version control.
- Experience maintaining technical documentation and configuration baselines.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional engineering or IT teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs.
- Familiarity with CMII, EIA-649, or other Configuration Management standards.
- Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
- Knowledge of automated configuration management and CI/CD tools.
- Relevant certifications such as Security+ CE, ITIL Foundation, CMII, or PMP.
