Configuration Management Specialist
About the role
Responsible for managing and maintaining software configuration across various projects. Collaborates with development teams to ensure consistency and quality.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed configuration management plans
- Implement and enforce change control procedures
- Monitor system configurations for compliance and security
- Collaborate with developers to resolve configuration issues
- Document and communicate changes to stakeholders
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in configuration management
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Qualifications
- Proficiency in configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet)
- Knowledge of ITIL best practices
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
