Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain configuration management processes aligned with ITIL and FPAC service delivery requirements.
- Define, document, and manage configuration items (CIs) and their relationships within the CMDB.
- Maintain configuration baselines and ensure all changes are properly tracked, approved, and documented.
- Support Change Management by validating configuration impacts and ensuring updates are reflected in the CMDB.
- Perform regular configuration audits and reconciliation activities to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
- Support release and deployment activities by ensuring configuration data reflects current production environments.
- Develop and maintain configuration management documentation, procedures, and reporting artifacts.
- Collaborate with Asset Management, Incident Management, and Problem Management teams to support root cause analysis and service reliability.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in configuration management within an enterprise IT environment.
- Strong understanding of ITIL Configuration and Change Management processes.
- Experience working with CMDB platforms (ServiceNow preferred).
- Experience managing configuration baselines, CI relationships, and audit processes.
- Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and documentation discipline.
- Public Trust clearance eligibility.
Desired Skills And Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
- ITIL Foundation certification or higher.
- Experience supporting federal IT environments and compliance frameworks.
- Familiarity with system integration environments supporting SAP, Salesforce, ArcGIS, or similar enterprise platforms.
