Key Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain configuration management processes aligned with ITIL and FPAC service delivery requirements.
  • Define, document, and manage configuration items (CIs) and their relationships within the CMDB.
  • Maintain configuration baselines and ensure all changes are properly tracked, approved, and documented.
  • Support Change Management by validating configuration impacts and ensuring updates are reflected in the CMDB.
  • Perform regular configuration audits and reconciliation activities to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
  • Support release and deployment activities by ensuring configuration data reflects current production environments.
  • Develop and maintain configuration management documentation, procedures, and reporting artifacts.
  • Collaborate with Asset Management, Incident Management, and Problem Management teams to support root cause analysis and service reliability.

Required Skills And Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in configuration management within an enterprise IT environment.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL Configuration and Change Management processes.
  • Experience working with CMDB platforms (ServiceNow preferred).
  • Experience managing configuration baselines, CI relationships, and audit processes.
  • Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and documentation discipline.
  • Public Trust clearance eligibility.

Desired Skills And Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • ITIL Foundation certification or higher.
  • Experience supporting federal IT environments and compliance frameworks.
  • Familiarity with system integration environments supporting SAP, Salesforce, ArcGIS, or similar enterprise platforms.
