Duties & Responsibilities

  • Cook up and oversee configuration management activities to guarantee accuracy and conformity with corporate standards.
  • Learn and implement configuration management principles in a quick-paced technical setting.
  • Release, upgrade, store, and disperse software for numerous tasks, ensuring clarity and reliability.
  • Identify and keep track of systems and/or apparatus as needed by contractual or regulatory requirements.
  • Organize and prioritize work assignments to achieve project milestones and deadlines.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product release and distribution procedures.
  • Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies while maintaining a secure and safe work environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, or a related discipline; professional experience in configuration management may be considered.
  • Basic comprehension of configuration management concepts and principles, as well as relevant governmental rules and regulations.
  • Strong organizational abilities with the ability to coordinate multiple work phases and meet deadlines.
  • Eloquent communication, documentation, presentation, and interpersonal skills to interact with all levels of employees and management.
  • Able to function independently or in a team environment while maintaining confidentiality of confidential information.
  • Ability to acquire and maintain a DoD security clearance is required.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with version control tools or systems.
  • Experience in managing engineering documentation or product release processes.
