Configuration Management Analyst - TSSCI

We are a Veteran-Owned management consulting firm in Washington, DC, specializing in technical and cleared recruiting for the Department of Defense (DoD), the Intelligence Community (IC), and other advanced defense agencies. This role supports fellow Veteran-Owned businesses by helping them recruit for positions across organizations such as the VA, SBA, HHS, DARPA, and other leading-edge R&D-focused defense agencies.

About the role

The Configuration Management Analyst will lead CM activities, manage competing priorities, and maintain disciplined CM practices in secure, fast-paced mission environments. The analyst will support the control, tracking, and integrity of system configurations in classified environments, utilizing a strong understanding of version control systems and configuration item tracking methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead configuration management activities in secure or classified environments.
• Provide systems engineering support and technical documentation control.
• Apply a strong understanding of CM tools, version control systems, and configuration item tracking methods.
• Utilize excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills to advance project goals.
• Manage competing priorities and lead cross-functional teams.
• Maintain disciplined CM practices in fast-paced mission environments.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of experience with a BS/BA, 0 to 2 years with an MS/MA/MBA, or 8 to 10 years with no degree.
• Experience supporting DoD or Intelligence Community programs.
• Familiarity with CM standards such as MIL-HDBK-61A, ISO/IEC CM frameworks, or CMMI-based processes.
• Experience with digital CM tools (JIRA, Confluence, ClearCase, Git-based tools, or similar).
• Strong understanding of CM tools, version control systems, and configuration item tracking methods.
• Demonstrated experience leading CM activities in secure or classified environments.
• Experience in configuration management, systems engineering support, or technical documentation control.
• Active/current TS/SCI clearance.

Qualifications (Preferred)

• 5 to 8 years of experience with a BS/BA, 3 to 5 years with an MS/MA, or 0 to 2 years with a PhD.
• 8 to 10 years of experience with a BS/BA, 6 to 8 years with an MS/MA, or 3 to 5 years with a PhD.

Pay

$98,000 - $165,000
