Configuration Management Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Aid in maintaining configuration management databases and documentation
• Aid in identifying and documenting configuration changes
• Aid in developing Configuration Control Board document packages
• Aid in briefing Configuration Control Board members and participants
• Aid in developing DD-Form 1692 Engineering Change Proposals
• Aid in conducting configuration audits and assessments under supervision
• Develop familiarity with configuration management tools and software
• Aid in developing and implementing configuration management plans
• Aid in coordinating with cross-functional teams on configuration-related matters
• Develop foundational knowledge of DoD and industry CM standards and regulations
• Show attention to detail and accuracy in all CM data activities
• Apply basic knowledge of risk assessment and mitigation in CM contexts

Minimum Requirements

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent
• Experience: 0–5 years of related CM or engineering experience
• Mid-Level to High-Level Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 Products such as PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
• Experience with DoD CM standards (MIL-HDBK-61B, EIA-649)
• Familiarity with Configuration Control Boards (CCBs) and Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs)
• Proficiency in CM tools such as PTC Windchill, CMPRO, or equivalent
• Experience supporting FCA/PCA audits on DoD programs
