Configuration Data Manager

Responsibilities

• Process management and oversight of configuration management of articles inducted into the manufacturing and MRO processes to meet customer requirements and technical data packages.
• Describes provisions for configuration identification, change control, configuration status accounting, and configuration audits.
• Identifies and maintains the original configuration of requirements documentation, design documentation, and related documentation.
• Regulates the change process to ensure only approved and validated changes are incorporated into documents.
• Tracks all problems and changes in product documents and reports current configuration.
• Supports audits to verify that all requirements of baselines have been met.
• Assigns tasks and prioritizes activities within the department to meet deadlines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree of Arts or Science Required.
• Preferred degree in a Technical Field.
• Five years of experience required; eight years preferred.
