About the Role

DCS is seeking an analyst to provide engineering and analytical support for Configuration Management (CM) and Risk Management (RM) operations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CM operation tasks, including:
    • Maintenance of CM Plans
    • Analyzing CM processes and conducting in-depth analysis
    • Developing measurements to monitor CM process key phases
    • Managing Configuration Control Board (CCB) and Configuration Review Board (CRB)
    • Reviewing drawings, CM Contract Data Requirements List (CDRLs), Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), and Technical Data Packages (TDP)
    • Assisting in organizing and managing the PM AAA internal CCBs process
    • Evaluating program artifacts and maintaining/updating a repository of ECPs and Deviations based on CCB results
    • Supporting the conduct of Functional and Physical Configuration Audits (FCA/PCA)
    • Supporting engineering and technical assessments of Technical Reviews, including:
      • Assisting the Government in preparing for reviews
      • Providing comments and adjudications to action items assigned during reviews
      • Providing status of action items through close-out
  • Perform RM operation tasks, including:
    • Maintaining the RM Plan and process
    • Analyzing RM processes and conducting in-depth analysis
    • Developing measurements to monitor key RM process phases
    • Assessing Product Quality Deficiency Reports (PQDRs)
    • Assisting in organizing and managing the PM AAA internal Risk Management Board (RMB) process
    • Evaluating program artifacts and maintaining/updating a repository of Risks and risk mitigations based on RMB results

Requirements

  • U.S. Citizenship (required due to the sensitivity of customer-related requirements)
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 4+ years of related professional experience
  • Active SECRET clearance
  • Experience performing RM and CM in support of an ACAT Level I-III program of record

Skills

  • Conducting in-depth analysis of RM processes, developing measurements to monitor key phases, and maintaining RM Plans
  • Organizing and managing the Internal Risk Management Board process and maintaining a Risk Registry with associated mitigation strategies
  • Assessing PQDRs and delivering reports to track action items from technical assessments and reviews
  • Conducting in-depth analysis of CM processes, developing measurements to monitor key phases, and maintaining CM Plans
  • Reviewing and evaluating program artifacts (drawings, vendor deliverables, ECPs, and TDPs)
  • Coordinating and participating in engineering and technical assessments
  • Organizing and managing CRBs and CCBs, conducting FCAs and PCAs, and maintaining an ECP and Deviation repository
