Configuration Analyst / CAD Drafter

About the role

Join our team as a Configuration Analyst / CAD Drafter at Lockheed Martin. This role involves creating and maintaining detailed technical drawings and documentation to support product development and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain accurate 2D and 3D CAD drawings using industry-standard software.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design specifications are met and documented.
• Perform quality checks on drawings to ensure compliance with engineering standards and customer requirements.
• Support project timelines by efficiently managing drawing revisions and updates.
• Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior staff members.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in CAD drafting and/or configuration management.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles and ability to interpret complex technical data.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience with 3D modeling and assembly drawings.
• Knowledge of engineering standards and practices.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical design and manufacturing processes.
